master planning at Banbury

FORM have designed the master plan for the regeneration of Banbury railway station and the surrounding areas. New housing, a commercial/retail district, a new hotel and two multi-storey car parks will be developed in the vicinity, with streetscaping providing an attractive, human scale connection between all the elements.

A new station building with retail space and offices will bring increased employment to the area, and the crucial element which forms the key to the introduction of new areas of housing, and reducing car use for local journeys, is a new footbridge linking the two sides of the railway for the first time.
